Neuroradiology Review CME COURSE
With Interactive Case Reviews
October 15 – 19, 2007

DESCRIPTION:
This course will serve as a comprehensive review of neuroradiology and will prepare the participants to tackle imaging of the brain, spine, head and neck, as well as the vascular anatomy of the central nervous system.  It will be conducted in the form of didactic lectures and case reviews with the overall emphasis on practical knowledge as well as presenting advanced imaging techniques and applications with state-of-the-art developments in the field of radiological science.

OBJECTIVES:
After attending this activity, the participant should be able to provide a differential diagnosis of mass lesions in the brain;  differentiate between neoplastic, inflammatory and ischemic lesions in the spine; accurately describe degenerative disorders of the spine using standardized nomenclature; provide imaging assessments that are useful to clinicians for staging of head and neck cancers; and understand the fundamentals of the use of advanced imaging modalities in the analysis of neurological disorders.
